On-site refreshments in the form of snacks and cold drinks will be available at reasonable cost on the flying site but no other formal eating arrangements (excepting the final banquet) will be provided. Campers/caravanners are expected to use their own facilities but there are many inns/restaurants that can provide good evening meals at reasonable prices. Residents at the University will receive a breakfast as a part of their accommodation. Hotel residents are expected to make their own arrangements in the normal way.
The banquet will be held in the York racecourse (Knavesmire) banqueting facilities. The racecourse facilities in the stands area include various hospitality features amongst which is an excellent large hall with all of the necessary features for a function of this type. These facilities were successfully utilised on the occasion of the 1983 F3B World Championships. The ticket price for the banquet will be 60 chf which is to be submitted at the same time as the competitors' entry fees for those wishing to attend.
