All three classes can fly in the open event, with one restriction. Only one class per person is allowed. This follows the current rule for the UK league and is required due to time restrictions. For the 7-cell class the only restriction is maximum 7 cells, max wing loading 75gms/dm2, and maximum cell size corresponding to the new specification for 2005 (GP3300 allowed).
All three classes will be flown intermingled in a single big event round.
This is an individual event, not a team event, nor is it an FAI event.
So the scheduling will be at the convenience of the organisers.
Model processing will be scheduled concurrently with the open,
and this will be taken into account in the scheduling.
Team affiliations and helpers will not be considered in the scheduling,
so the only way of influencing this is by frequency selection.
Frequencies must be from the allowed list.
There will be a maximum number of entrants allowed on any one frequency, first come first served,
so the organisers reserve the right to negotiate the use of another frequency.
Open F5D
This will be scheduled around mid-day as in the world championship.
Three rounds will be run on each of Saturday and Sunday.
