ON-SITE TRADING INFORMATION

During the Electric Flight World Championships opportunities will exist for on-site trading and the organisers are keen to encourage this aspect of the event. We anticipate that the main opportunity for trading will be the final 3 days of the event; Fri 13, Sat 14(final WC day), Sunday 15 Electric Flight Event (BEFA). Clearly you know your customers better than we do and the Timetable of Events will give you a picture of the whole event and might be of further help with your planning.

We do not yet have numbers for the supporting events, namely the Friday Sunrise-sunset event, and the Sat/Sun/Mon - Open F5B/F/7cell & F5D events. However, we have modified the Sunrise-sunset rules to include a 7 cell class and reduced the team size to 3 members to encourage more “local” interest. Entries in the “Open” events are normally greater than for the World Champs, as helpers can fly in these events alongside W Ch Team members who will use it for training purposes. Current indications are that we will have about 20 F5D pilots and over 40 F5B pilots, all with their team managers, helpers and supporters.

A Trading Zone will be established close to the flightline and organisers tent, within the “Safe Side” spectator zone. The approach to the spectator area will be via the Trade Zone.

Plots

Each Trading Plot will be 5 x 5metres plus space for parking.
These Plots will be marked out and comprise “space only” on a grass area.
Plots should not be considered secure at night when all stock should be removed/secured/insured.
Plots will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, larger traders may wish to purchase more than one Plot.
Vehicle access to the Trade Zone will be allowed, with entry in the morning before flying starts and exit after flying has concluded in the afternoon. Note that all other (visitor) car parking will be restricted to the East (high) side of the camping area some 200m distant.

All prices are for a single 5 x 5m plot plus space for parking(approx site size 5 x 12m)
